AI Tools for Literature Review: Hands-On Session

 In our recent hands-on session, we explored two AI-powered tools that can significantly enhance the process of conducting a literature review: Chat PDF and Mendeley.

1. Chat PDF for Literature Review

Chat PDF is a powerful tool for reviewing research papers and summarizing their key findings. It uses artificial intelligence to analyze and extract relevant information from research papers, making it easier to process large amounts of literature. This tool can help researchers quickly identify essential insights, methodologies, and conclusions from academic papers.

One key limitation of the free version is that it restricts users to uploading only two PDFs per day. Despite this limitation, Chat PDF remains a valuable resource for streamlining the literature review process, offering users a quick way to engage with and summarize research.

2. Mendeley: Reference Management and AI-powered Recommendations

Mendeley is a widely-used reference management tool that helps organize and cite research papers. In addition to its core functionality, Mendeley offers AI-powered recommendations for relevant papers, based on the user's existing library.
